Fifteen things you would relate if you were brought up in Ooty.

1. Waking up early in the morning is 8 am for you. Because even Sun doesn’t come before that.

2. “Taking bath regularly” – what does it mean for you is “thrice in a week”.

3. You would treat cold water as Sulphuric acid & you would never touch it.

4. Everywhere greenery, everywhere lawn is a common thing for you.

5. Number of sweaters and jackets you have is more than the number of shirts you own.

6. Cinema shooting is very common thing such that seeing your favorite star is not a big deal.

7. Your area names don’t end with “Puram” or “Nagar”; but it has names of streets of London.

8. Your school uniform for quarter of the year includes “Raincoats” and “Gumboots”.

9. You would have tasted a number of varieties of tea, such that you couldn’t count it with your fingers.

(Black tea, lemon tea, masala tea, white tea, green tea, ginger tea, chocolate tea, cardamom tea….)

10. You would have seen tourist from all over the world.

11. You would have enjoyed traveling in Ooty train even though a bicycle is faster than it.

12. Seeing a vehicle with TN 43 registration is an eye catcher for you.

13. The one doctor you would never forget: “Dr. Indra Nambiar”.

14. Girls speaking English ONLY while crossing you; never mind they are from Convents.

 15. You consider walking in commercial road, a ramp walk in fashion show.
